CACI International Inc, Arlington, Virginia-based IT services firm, has reported fourth-quarter net income up 23.9% at $4.1m on revenue up 38.5% at $126.1m. Earnings per share rose 24.1% to $0.36, beating the consensus estimate of analysts surveyed by First Call by $0.03. Gross profit margin for the quarter was 40.3%, compared to 45.5% in the year-ago quarter, due to higher direct costs associated with increased levels of systems integration business.

Operating profit margin, meanwhile, improved slightly to 6.4% from 6.3%, primarily as a result of relatively lower indirect costs and selling expenses. For the full year, net income rose 21% to $14.2m on revenue up 35.5% at $441.7m, while earnings per share rose 20% to $1.26.
