By expanding DEC's AllConnect Unix/NT integration suite it looks as if Compaq Computer Corp is trying to wean users off DEC Unix and on to Windows NT, just like some of its executives had indicated in press reports last week. Meantime OpenVMS won't be available on DEC workstations after 2000. Existing users will be supported be encouraged to migrate to Windows NT or OpenVMS on a server.
