Network Associates Inc's McAfee Software division has launched the latest version of its VirusScan product. The unit says that new features in VirusScan 4.0 include improved protection against hostile ActiveX and Java applets and ramped-up defenses against email viruses. The Retail Edition for Windows 95 and 98 is available now for $49.
