Micro Focus Completes Intersolv Merger

Cobol software tools company Micro Focus Group Plc's $534m acquisition of ODBC middleware company Intersolv Inc has now been completed. And the merged company's first move was to beef up the board with the appointment of Kevin Burns, Gary Greenfield and Michel Berty from Intersolv as non-executive directors.

The combined entity has annual revenues of around $400m and has ambitions to build this rapidly towards the $1bn level.
