DESIGNED TO WITHSTAND HARSH ENVIRONMENTS of industrial applications is the INDomation 10/100 ethernet switch. The switch operates on a 24-volt DC power source via a Phoenix-type connector, with an operating temperature of 140 [fahrenheit]. It includes an accessible front panel with angled R J-45 ports that eliminate dust and grime buildup and relieve strain on patch cords. The switch also features MDI/MDIX autosensing/autocrossover technology, which eliminates the need for a special crossover cable when uplinking from one switch to another, while allowing use of any port on the switch to be used as an uplink. An integrated clear-hinged cover protects connections, allowing for quick visual inspections and easy cable access. The switch has a rugged metal case and can be mounted on a standard DIN rail, compatible with most factory environments. Available in 4-port RJ-45, both standard and with ST/Multimode fiber-optic uplink; and fiber-to-copper Fast Ethernet converter.--Unicom
