Communications News, Oct, 2003
The Rack-it is a set of mounting brackets that allows rackmount equipment to be installed almost anywhere. Designed for mounting network equipment, patch panels, distribution enclosures and more in areas where floor and wall space are at a premium, the unit features EIA 310-D universal hole spacing and accommodates equipment up to Five rackmount spaces in size. The solution enables TIA/ EIA-standard 19" equipment to be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Spreading the brackets further apart enables mounting of other non-standard compliant apparatus, as well. With a sturdy, 12-awg cold-rolled steel construction, the device can support up to 75 lbs. of equipment. --The Siemon Company
