Wireless IP system - Voice network products - Kirk Telecom's KIRK 1500 IP is a modular wireless voice-communication system that integrates with most existing and future IP-PBX installations

Communications News, Oct, 2003

The KIRK 1500 IP is a modular wireless voice-communication system that integrates with most existing and future IP-PBX installations. The solution consists of a Wireless Mobility Server (the central control unit) installed with the appropriate interface card and a number of access points, wireless repeaters and wireless handsets. The system is flexible in relation to coverage, voice traffic and number of users, providing 30 to 60 voice channels for one to 700 users. Seamless handover between base stations allows calls to be transferred noiselessly from one base station to another without being lost. A messaging system makes using the handsets for alarm and monitoring purposes possible, as well as sending messages from one handset to another. --Kirk Telecom
