Along with a 32-bit MIPS CPU processor and QoS capabilities, the StrataXGS 200 series contains integrated multilayer Ethernet switches that support eight-, 16- or 24-Gigabit Ethernet ports and four uplinks. Built using the 65-nanometer fabrication process for low energy consumption, the switches operate at 10/100/1000 Mbps and provide wire-speed Layer 2 switching as well as Layer 3 routing for enterprise networks. The product also performs IPv6 routing and transition services.--Broadcom Corp.
