The BellSouth Business Group has joined with TManage, Inc. to implement TeamTelework Connections, an end-to-end teleworking service to help large companies implement formal programs for employees working from remote locations. BellSouth and TManage address virtually every aspect of a comprehensive teleworking program, including: program development, installation of voice and data services, remote office setup and management, and technical support for workers. The TeamTelework Connections service is targeted for businesses seeking teleworking solutions for more than 250 employees. The BellSouth/ TManage team will:

* Assess a company's teleworking requirements and build a program and business plan that covers everything from candidate selection to implementation;

* Supply remote access services, end-user equipment, and network services;

* Provide assistance in technology selection and coordinate all aspects of installation, including home-office furnishings, at employees' homes;

* Provide employee training and assist with internal communications related to the program;

* Support and manage the services--including a 24-hour help desk for remote users; and

* Measure employee productivity and track expenses to ensure cost efficiency.

The TeamTelework Connections solution encompasses a wide range of BellSouth's voice and data products including: ADSL, ISDN, virtual private dial network (VPDN), business Internet services, Web hosting, ATM, interactive paging service, voice conferencing, and MemoryCall service.

Gartner Group estimates that there will be 30 million teleworkers in the United States next year. By the year 2003, the firm predicts that more than 130 million workers worldwide will engage in at least part-time teleworking.
