EMULATE DIFFERENT WAN LINE PROFILES to assess their effects on VolP, videoconferencing and e-commerce applications. Integrated in the VoIP Performer product, NetSim creates the environment in which the quality and grade of service delivered by VolP devices and/ or applications are measured against the stress levels of real-world network conditions. The system emulates the erratic behavior of WAN links and the Internet by introducing impairments, such as latency, jitter, out-of-sequence errors and packet loss. It includes the ability to simulate delay according to various probability distributions or customized, user-defined histograms. --RADCOM Equipment
