Server frame - Infrastructure products

Communications News, Nov, 2002

Avoid clearance issues between channels and mounting roils, and stability issues caused when servers are pulled out to full extension. The QuadraRack Server Frame is designed specifically to address installing rackmount servers onto four-post frames. The rack incorporates 14-gauge steel, unequal flange C-channels to provide the clearance needed for rackmount server sliding rails. Integrated horizontal braces give the torsion strength required to prevent mounting rails from being twisted when rackmount servers are pulled out. Flexibility to adapt to specific server mounting screws is provided by cage nuts that clip into EIA-compliant square-hole channels. The frame offers easy access for simplified equipment installation and cabling, as well as unrestricted airflow for improved cooling and heat dissipation.--Chatsworth Products
