Designed to be run on a Pocket PC the AirMagnet Handheld is a comprehensive suite of mobile WLAN analyzer tools for network installers, IT network administrators and security officers. The tool helps technicians deploy, administer and secure 802.11 and 802.1x WLANs. It helps to quickly eliminate connection problems, maintain network performance levels and ensure a high level of network security. Version 1.5 of the software supports IEEE's 802.1 x standard, the most common VPN protocols and Cisco's Aironet client express adapters, and has integrated utilities for the support of external antennas. Real-time network status is available through a series of performance alarms, and features allow the detailed examination of individual access points.--AirMagnet
