Certification Software for the company's Mini-OTDR enables fiber-optic installers to interface the OTDR with a PC and provide printouts and/or electronic documentation of the required trace results. The Mini-OTDR is a 3-lb'portable optical-testing platform for both single-mode and multimode metro and LAN installations. The software upgrade allows technicians to view and store traces in the field, and download them to a PC for further analysis and printing. The solution includes all documentation forms, and is compatible with Windows 98, 2000 and XP.--Fiber Instrument Sales
