SNMP-MANAGED CONVERTER for fiber deployment in metropolitan or enterprise networks. The iConverter TI/EI extends T- I or E- I trunk distances over fiber to 58 km and supports advanced network management for both the central office and customer premises. The iConverter is available with SC, ST, MT-RJ or LC fiber connectors for multimode or single-mode fiber, and RJ-45/ RJ-48 and BNC copper connectors with a built-in line-crossover switch. The module is hot swappable and uses a one-, two- or 19-unit chassis. Hardware-level diagnostic features include local loop-back, remote loop-back and AIS mode for the copper or fiber ports.--Omnitron Systems Technology
