The NetFORCE 1800 is a compact, midrange NAS filer for small and medium businesses. The filer provides modular scalability up to a full terabyte of storage in 2-U of rack space, and users can ultimately scale in multigigabyte to multiterabyte increments to an aggregate 6 TB. The product runs on the optimized NetFORCE OS 4.2 operating system, which enables scalability, network file sharing and improved data delivery. The new filer generates more than 13,000 input/ output operations per second and utilizes hardware RAID for performance and reliability.--Procom Technology
