To meet corporate governance obligations, protect sensitive data and provide audit trails, the OmniAccess 8550 Web Services Gateway (WSG) allows controlled access to sensitive information across multiple IT systems by implementing stateful information access policies based on user identity. The device acts as a Web services proxy appliance, providing multiple security and compliance safeguards, and masks all internally used URLs. The 2U appliance includes 4 GB of memory, four GbE ports and a single Ethernet port for management.--Alcatel-Lucent
