For storing, managing and protecting data, the Pantera 5000 Scalable Clustered NAS supports up to 112 drives per RAID controller and can scale up to 672 TB across eight nodes. With global namespace technology, enterprises can expand the networked storage environment while keeping storage provisioning and management simple. An open storage design accommodates heterogeneous storage and supports more than 40 enterprise storage arrays, enabling organizations to leverage existing storage devices. The solution supports Fibre Channel for tier 1 fast-access storage and SATA for tier 2 nearline applications. In addition, the Pantera 5000 provides up to 2.75 Gbps of sustained performance, integrated file server virtualization, remote replication and native file-management protocols.--ONStor
