Application-performance monitor

Communications News, Feb, 2008

With Application Performance Monitoring (APM), administrators can monitor and measure traffic and end-to-end performance at application level by performing measurements on actual traffic. The integrated solution ensures service-level agreements and resolves performance issues, identifying specific bottlenecks along application delivery paths, which can span servers, applications and databases. APM provides application and network round-trip response times, SSL handshake counters and total bandwidth consumption. The solution combines performance monitoring, diagnostics and remediation within a single management solution and can send alarms when SLA thresholds are not met.--Radware
