HIGH-SPEED WIRELESS ACCESS SOLUTION offers an eightfold increase in output power, eliminating the need for power amplifiers, while boosting coverage and increasing cell radius. BreezeACCESS II is a carrier-class line of wireless access products designed for operation in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. Supporting a rackmounted base station chassis, the system offers the ability to combine licensed with unlicensed bands in the same base station. This feature increases system flexibility, provides cost savings and permits the aggregation of bandwidth as network growth demands. An optional built-in load-sharing redundant power supply, with automatic switchover feature, safeguards the reliability of the network. Adjustable RF power capabilities improve system capacity and frequency planning to maximize spectrum utilization and capitalize on maximum frequency reuse. BreezeACCESS II supports enhanced IP services, including VLANs, integrated DHCP, multiple service options and voice QoS using the 802.1p standard.--BreezeCOM

Wireless Gigabit Ethernet
Booth 1126
HIGH-CAPACITY, BROADBAND SYSTEM delivers wireless Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The FibeAir 10000 system is designed to bridge high-capacity connections across the metropolitan area market, particularly as a time-sensitive alternative to the deployment of a fiber network. The system has a modular and scalable architecture to provide a high-quality wireless Gigabit Ethernet connection across multiple frequencies between 18 and 38 GHz. The product, designed with spectral efficiency in mind, uses two 50(FCC)/56(ESTI) MHz channels to deliver connectivity. The FibeAir is flexible to enable the expansion of an IP network incrementally as demand increases. The system incorporates full IP switching capabilities, eliminating the need to invest in external networking equipment. The FibeAir complies with North American and international standards, delivering IP, SONET/SDH and ATM broadband networking.--Ceragon Networks

Adaptable enclosure
Booth 628
DURABLE RACK ENCLOSURE has the flexibility to be scaled up in features and level of protection to a fully integrated minicomputer room system. The basic Foundation Enclosure is built on a flexible frame design that is the basis for either a nonsealed, or NEMA 12 enclosure. The cabinet is an adaptable solution that can be customized with adjustable mounting rails, multiple door options, and cable access and management for organization and security. Expansion options create the Foundation Mini Computer Room for continuous systems availability, with integrated computer-grade air conditioning, power protection, monitoring and security. Functioning as a self-contained computer room for critical network systems and components, the enclosure provides a quick deployment solution that can be relocated or expanded to fit changing requirements. The online UPS and cooling systems are load matched to assure optimum performance, and a backup cooling system provides cooling support in the event of high-temperature conditions.--Liebert

T-1 line surge protection
Booth 3667
PROTECT SENSITIVE TELEPHONE, datacom and instrumentation equipment against harmful lightning surges and electrical transients. The B280 and B480 series wall-mountable T-1 surge protectors use a heavy-duty multistage design with a hybrid technology that combines a fast response time ([is less than] 1 ns) and a high-power handling capability of 10 kA. The devices automatically reset after each lightning surge or electrical transient, and are UL 497B approved. Small enough to be mounted inside a cabinet or on a backboard, input/output connections are made with screw terminals or R J-45 jacks.--Citel
