CONNECT A PC TO ANY NETWORK ENVIRONMENT. With 802.11b wireless adapters, users can share Internet access, printers and files at up to 11 Mbps, at distances ranging from 100' to 300' outdoors. The adapters work with any desktop or notebook computer that has a USB port, a vacant PCI slot or PCMCIA port. The USB adapter is plug and play, meaning it can virtually install itself into any Microsoft Windows environment using plug-and-play protocol. It is easy to carry or can be mounted onto a wall. The PCI adapter, which incorporates functions of a wireless PCI adapter and a PC card, does not require a separate PCMCIA 802.11b wireless card. The PCMCIA card is compatible with most laptop computers, providing convenience of mobility and wireless networking.--Actiontec
