ELIMINATE BENT PINS in backplane applications with the 2mm Hard Metric vertical female connector. The product is used in place of male connectors. Press-fit contacts provide for a convenient and gas-tight connection. AVX's Varipin press-fit, compliant pin technology provides equal force on the complete contact length, allows up to three exchanges of contacts, and provides vibration- and corrosion-resistant connections with low transition resistance. Type A connectors are available in 110-pin size, and Type B in 95-pin, 110-pin and 125-pin sizes; both can be with or without side shields. They mate with all AVX 8072 right-angle male connectors and are compatible with other 2mm Hard Metric connectors. Applications include industrial computers, computer test systems and telecom switching systems.--AVX
