The ConnectPoint 100 combines the security of wires and the flexibility of wireless to provide a quickly deployable, reusable Fast Ethernet connection. The indoor Free-space optical networking product extends common Ethernet and Fast Ethernet connectivity between networked devices using an auto-aligning transceiver pair, providing connectivity where cabling is nonexistent or its installation cost is high. Applications include rapid deployment of network connections for enterprises and governments, wireless LAN backhaul, secure connectivity for remote security monitoring devices, temporary connections for large conference halls or disaster-relief efforts, and quick connectivity for new servers and storage.--Crinis Networks
