Running on Windows 2000 and XP operating systems, AirMagnet Laptop is a suite of tools for 802.11b and 802.1x networks, including wireless administration, installation surveying, security assessment, connection troubleshooting and performance management. With both a laptop and hand-held version, the products share data for comprehensive analysis and the pinpointing of trouble spots. By identifying the client station having difficulty joining a WLAN, the solution builds and displays, in real time, the protocol-transaction checklist.
