Now that the Category 6 standards have been approved, several cabling companies have introduced their CAT 6 products. General Cable's GenSPEED 6600 Category 6e enhanced cable is one of the first and provides enhanced capabilities that make it a good fit for streaming media and other high-throughput applications. The cable features unique flat tape separators to deliver high performance. The design provides power-sum attenuation crosstalk ratio headroom of 9.9 dB and 10.8 dB at 100 MHz and 250 MHz, respectively. The cable also performs with a positive PSACR beyond 400 MHz. Third-party verified for performance, the cable supports transmission speeds in excess of 1 Gbps.--General Cable
