VPN gateway

Communications News, March, 2004

The VPN Gateway 3050 is a remote-access security solution that extends the reach of enterprise applications and resources to remote users. The gateway performs an-the-fly content transformation to convert most intranet resources into externally viewable, secure HTML pages. The solution employs an advanced network address-and-port translation utility to build SSL-secured VPN tunnels for client/server communications. Key features include clientless remote access, IPSec client termination, private-side encryption, dynamically adjustable access privileges based on user IP address or authentication strength, and an intuitive browser-based interface for all administrative functions.--Nortel Networks
