Air recirculation prevention

Communications News, March, 2008

To eliminate exhaust air recirculation and hot spots within IT equipment cabinets, HotLok Blanking Panels use cantilevered sealing vanes that eliminate the gap between adjoining panels or installed equipment and prevents exhaust air or hot aisle air from migrating to the air intake stream at the front of the cabinet. Ergonomically designed finger grips make tool-free installation and removal fast and safe. The panels are made of lightweight, fire-resistant, recyclable, RoHS-certified plastic, and are available in 1U and 2U sizes to fit 19" rail widths with either round or universal square openings. Optional self-adhesive temperature strips can be added to the panels to monitor for heat-related issues.--Upsite Technologies
