Uninterruptible power supply

Communications News, March, 2008

Designed to protect server, data storage, network, telephony, industrial and medical equipment, Pulsar UPS double-conversion, on-line 700 VA, 1,000 VA and 1,500 VA systems are available in tower and rack options in various sizes to accommodate a variety of enclosures. The system features USB and RS-232 ports, six IEC 10 A sockets, multilingual LCD, remote on/off and management software. All Pulsar models accommodate a power-distribution unit that saves space by adding receptacles to the back, side or top of the UPS. The internal battery can be hot-swapped from the front panel while the UPS remains in the rack. During a power outage, the UPS can protect connected equipment for up to five hours with optional external battery modules.--MGE Office Protection Systems
