Improve performance

HIGH-QUALITY PATCH CORDS can result in noticeable data transfer speeds. The Instant Upgrade Patch Cord meets all Category 5e specifications and includes 23-gauge conductors with a special bonding process to promote superior electrical results. The cable has a star filler to create better pair separation, resulting in reduced crosstalk and better attenuation. The patch cords also incorporate molded boots to keep conductors locked in place and ensure accurate bend radius.--Krone

CAT 5e Solution

HIGH-DENSITY PATCH PANEL offers a Category 5e solution for data centers, Internet service providers and other applications where cabinet and/or rack space is at a premium. The HD Patch 5e is a 48-port, high-density patch panel, with two rows of IDCs stacked vertically in only 1U of space. Utilizing KATT connectors, the panels can be terminated with all standard available tooling. The simple-to-install-and-manage panels exceed TIA/EIA Category 5e standards, with at least 3 dB of headroom. The unit also features convenient labeling features, rear cable management options and a heavy-duty powdercoat finish.--Molex Premise Networks

Tie them up

HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL TIES provide corrosion resistance and extreme temperature tolerance. The NO-SLIP self-locking stainless steel ties are designed with a low insertion-force head to keep the tie securely locked, regardless of its orientation or how tightly it is installed. The ties are available in three varieties: general purpose ties; the WAVE-TY ties, with a wave-form spring action to provide a loop tensile strength of up to 200 lbs.; and the NO-SLIP ties that feature a nylon coating to protect cables from sharp edges.--Panduit

Error-free connection

IMPROVED PATCH PANELS help provide reliable, error-free transmission in an active network environment. The Universal Patch Panels are an integral part of structured wiring systems. The Universal Category 5 and Universal GigaMax 5e patch panels are designed to accommodate both T568B and T568A wiring configurations. The patch panels were used to successfully pass IEEE 802.3ab Gigabit Ethernet requirements that specify that a cabling system have a BER of no more than one error per 10 billion frames. The new patch panels mount in standard 19" equipment racks and accommodate top, bottom or side cable entry. The panels come preconfigured with 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64 or 96 ports and are covered by a lifetime warranty.--Leviton

Attractive raceway

SINGLE-CHANNEL RACEWAY is easy to install for both communications and electrical cabling. The MediaTrak 7 is a medium-sized, one-piece, nonmetallic surface raceway with a double-latching cover. The raceway will hold up to 10 Category 5e cables, while remaining within cable fill requirements of 40%. The system features fittings with a 1.25" minimum bend radius, as well as single- and double-gang boxes. The raceway is available with or without an adhesive backing, and features red indicators to suggest 16" centers.--Hubbell Premise Wiring

Longer length raceway

RACEWAY SYSTEM now offers new 8' raceway lengths. The Raceway System Solutions is made of rigid 94V-0 vinyl for low voltage (under 50 V) communication cabling. In addition to the existing 6' channels, the new 8' length provides a solid floor-to-ceiling raceway for most vertical applications. The raceway system comes in 3/4", 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" widths, and is suitable for UTP, STP, ScTP, coaxial, audio, video and fiber-optic cables. The system uses an adhesive back to simplify installation, and is designed to maintain minimum cable bend radii, even when filled to capacity. The one-piece channel features a flexible, integrated hinge, with a self-locking latch to keep cables secure. The system offers 90 [degrees] elbows, tees, joint covers, outside corners and covers, inside corners and covers, reducers, ceiling entries and mounting clips, and end caps. All components are engineered to integrate with ICC junction boxes, mounting boxes and multimedia boxes.--ICC
