The EZ Connect G 2.4GHz 54-Mbps Wireless CardBus Adapter supports both 64/128-bit WEP encryption and the new Wi-Fi Protected Access with 802.1 x user authentication. To simplify use in multiple environments, profile-management software saves multiple wireless settings corresponding to different locations or networks, and a built-in site survey utility program scans for all available wireless access points on the network. When an 802.11g access point is in range, the card communicates at up to 54 Mbps, when in an 802.11b environment, it steps down to operate seamlessly.--SMC Networks
