Redundant power switching

Communications News, April, 2004

The T2235 Series dual AC input power switch combines redundant power switching, under-voltage sensing and out-of-phase source switching. The unit accepts Mo AC power inputs and monitors both inputs, and, in the event that primary power is lost or experiences a brownout, the unit will transfer power to the secondary source. The switch will transfer from primary to secondary source fast enough to keep critical equipment powered. Available in both 15-amp and 20-amp versions, the 19" rackmount device Ts 1-U in height and 7" deep. Both black and gold versions have mounting capability for a cable restraint/management system.--Pulizzi Engineering
