Brilliance CatSnake tactical field-deployable Category 5e audio/video cables are designed for use in patching Ethernet or other CAT 5e digital audio/video formats. The cables are AES/EBU-compliant and feature a rugged construction, utilizing the company's bonded-pair design, which makes them ideal for indoor broadcast applications in high traffic areas, as well as tactical, field-deployable for use outdoors and in broadcast truck applications. The cables maintain their impedance and return loss performance when flexed and handled in rugged environments because the insulated conductors are bonded together--maintaining consistent conductor-to-conductor spacing along the entire longitudinal axis, with no gaps to create impedance changes.
