Sleek and secure
PROTECT THE INVESTMENT made in high-performance cables with this new accessory for securing cables and equipment. IN-LINE cable ties provide a secure method of securing cabling while reducing the risk of damaging neighboring cables. These ties feature a parallel-entry design (product to the right in picture) that threads like a belt rather than at a 90 [degrees] angle as conventional ties do. This design eliminates the protrusion of the cut-off tie that can cause damage to adjacent cables, installation of cabling is simplified due to fewer snags and overall reduction in bundle size. The rounded edges on the head and strap mean no sharp edges come in contact with cable insulation or installer's hands. The IN-LINE cable ties can be installed with a variety of tools and are available for bundle diameters ranging from 2" to 4".

Fiber extension
EXTEND EXISTING ETHERNET NETWORKS with fiber-optic connectivity. The AutoTwister from Lancast Inc. autonegotiates speed to provide a link between 10/100 Base-T Ethernet networks with long-distance, high-bandwidth, fiber-optic cabling. Communication can now take place for distances up to 100km, providing a seamless connection across long distances in mixed media networks. The new link loss return feature minimizes downtime by monitoring the network status and notifying a management station in the case of fiber failure. The AutoTwister is compatible with all major switch and router manufacturers and can be managed via any SNMP manager. Additionally, it offers shared network segment isolation, auto negotiation of full- or half-duplex configurations, and a lifetime warranty.

High-density fiber
MT-RJ FIBER-OPTIC ADAPTER products offer high-density connections to maximize rack space. The MT-RJ Series of fiber-optic adapters provide twice the density of SC fiber adapters, allowing 24 duplex fiber connectors in the same amount of space occupied by 12 SC fiber ports. The KRONE MT-RJ Series adapters are available in three variations, including an individual adapter, an adapter in a keystone package, and a six-pack. The keystone package adapters fit easily into modular network patch panels and faceplates. The six-pack modular panel can be used in a KRONE wall- or rack-mount fiber enclosure. With a typical insertion loss of less than .3 dB and a self-latching mechanism similar to standard copper RJ adapters, the MT-RJ Series offers a high-quality, high-density fiber connection.
