Flexible VPN router

FLEXIBLE STANDALONE ROUTING SOLUTION includes VPN and firewall features, and is designed for larger branch offices, campuses, ISPs and other network-centric business applications that seek extended WAN/LAN interconnectivity without having to invest heavily in chassis-based solutions. The AR800 series of modular switching routers is designed to deliver flexibility by combining traditional WAN connectivity options with multiple ethernet ports for extended LAN/WAN interconnectivity. Using switching ASICs for high levels of integration and system reliability, the AR800 family includes the AT-AR824 and the two fiber configurations of the AT-AR816f: SC and compact MT-RJ. The AR824 includes 24 autonegotiating 10/100Base-TX ports; the AR816f has 16 100Base-FX ports. A fully configured AR824 switching router can aggregate up to 28 T-1 connections into a redundant Gigabit Ethernet link. Throughput of the AT-AR800 switching routers is measured at 85 Mbps, with the Nemesis stateful inspection firewall running.
