Flexible VPN router
FLEXIBLE STANDALONE ROUTING SOLUTION includes VPN and firewall features, and is designed for larger branch offices, campuses, ISPs and other network-centric business applications that seek extended WAN/LAN interconnectivity without having to invest heavily in chassis-based solutions. The AR800 series of modular switching routers is designed to deliver flexibility by combining traditional WAN connectivity options with multiple ethernet ports for extended LAN/WAN interconnectivity. Using switching ASICs for high levels of integration and system reliability, the AR800 family includes the AT-AR824 and the two fiber configurations of the AT-AR816f: SC and compact MT-RJ. The AR824 includes 24 autonegotiating 10/100Base-TX ports; the AR816f has 16 100Base-FX ports. A fully configured AR824 switching router can aggregate up to 28 T-1 connections into a redundant Gigabit Ethernet link. Throughput of the AT-AR800 switching routers is measured at 85 Mbps, with the Nemesis stateful inspection firewall running. Firewall appliance
FIREWALL APPLIANCE combines VPN and firewall software technology with a high-performance hardware platform for users who require extra-heavy bandwidth and ultrahigh security. The SFARLord appliance is a fully integrated, high-density, prestaged and ready-to-operate firewall, which includes browser-based centraland remote-management features. STARLord carries an ITSEC E-3 certification and is built to NSA B-2 specifications, with a hardened Unix-based operating system. Easy-to-use VPN
ETHERNET-CONNECTABLE SECURITY APPLIANCE comes pre-installed with VPN and firewall software running on a hardened version of Red Hat's Linux. The SecureCom PDS 2100 security appliance is a Linux-based platform integrating Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 SmallOffice technology to deliver enterprise-class security to the large enterprise, small business or remote office. The PDS 2100 appliance is small enough to sit on the corner of a desk (1.75"x8.5"x11") and features Web-based setup and administration with centralized policy management. It uses open Intel architecture and has up to three 10/100 Mbps ethernet ports; serial and USB ports; and future expansion options for added scalability. The ethernet interfaces enable connection to a variety of sources, including xDSL, cable modems, routers and other ethernet devices. PLUG-AND-PLAY VPN DEVICE allows secure multi-user Internet access. The NetPilot Internet Access Server provides affordable, secure Internet connectivity for small and midsize businesses. NetPilot is installed in minutes, and is automatically configured through a browser-based administration function that customizes the installation for the IP/WAN environment based on answers to a few simple questions. NetPilot accommodates up to 150 PCs and, for larger installations, NetPilot Enterprise serves up to 500 PCs.
