BrightStor ARCserve Backup r11 for Windows is an advanced data-protection solution that enables organizations to ensure the integrity and availability of critical business data on Microsoft Windows, NetWare, Linux, UNIX and MAC OS X servers and clients. Supporting direct-attached storage, network-attached storage and storage-area network environments, the new release delivers multiplexing capabilities that increase backup performance by enabling multiple backup jobs to be written simultaneously to the same tape media. Also added is disk-to-disk backup and disk-to-disk-to-tape staging for optimum performance and backup flexibility, as well as a Microsoft Exchange premium agent that enables message-level, mailbox-level and database-level backup and restore.--Computer Associates
