Targeting enterprises upgrading to gigabit networks, the FortiGate 800 Antivirus Firewall Security Platform is an entry-level gigabit platform with four user-definable 10/100 ports, and four "tri-speed" interfaces that support l0-Mbps, 100-Mbps and Gigabit Ethernet networks. Customers can use the unit today in an existing 10/100 network, and will be able to continue to use it in the future as they upgrade their networks to gigabit speeds. The device can be deployed as a high-performance antivirus and content-filtering gateway, or as a complete network-protection solution leveraging firewall, VPN and intrusion detection/prevention capabilities. Multizone capabilities provide granular security by group or department, and a high-availability port allows two or more units to be configured in redundant clusters for improved scalability and uptime.--Fortinet
