The 9950 Secure Application Switch optimizes application performance and improves security for transaction-intensive applications. The product features Layer 7 switching performance of up to 245,000 HTTP requests per second, SSL encryption performance of up to 8,700 transactions per second and up to 760 Mbps of encrypted throughput. It has a compression performance of up to 555-Mbps data throughput. The switch is also able to provide application security, with the ability to handle up to 1.1 million SYN attacks per second.--NetScaler
