Outdoor link
RUGGED WIRELESS SYSTEM is specifically designed for outdoor use. The BreezeNET DS.11 Outdoor is a high-speed, wireless building-to-building solution that is unaffected by adverse conditions, such as fog, rain, snow or wind. The system provides a link of up to 25 km distance in FCC and 10 km in ETSI at 11 Mbps. The product includes a DS.11 base unit, which acts as the central site of a point-to-multipoint network, and a DS.11 remote bridge, which connects to an individual remote LAN. Up to 128 remote bridges can be simultaneously connected to a single base unit, forming a single wireless LAN. The system is available with both frequency-hopping and direct-sequence technologies to combat noisy environments and to provide reliable communications. The unit is 802.11b-compliant, and includes built-in remote management and diagnostic capabilities.-BreezeCOM

Access point with switch
HIGH-PERFORMANCE WIRELESS SOLUTION for connecting PCs to share high-speed DSL/cable modem Internet connections includes switching features and a hardware firewall to protect from outside intruders. The D1-713 wireless router and access point adheres to the IEEE 802.11b wireless and IEEE 802.3 ethernet specifications to allow users to share a single Internet connection. The DI-713 has an integrated wireless router that acts as a DHCP server, allowing shared Internet access for up to 252 clients. The built-in access point delivers a 11 Mbps wireless LAN connection using DSSS that is fully interoperable with all IEEE 802.11b-compliant devices. The DI-713 also has three 10/100 Mbps autosensing, full-duplex Fast Ethernet switch ports. The DI-713 firewall functions allow users to block and redirect ports, as well as mask local IP addresses--making targeting a specific machine more difficult for intruders. On a dynamic network connection, the D-Link access point will automatically obtain an IP address and forward additional IPs to multiple clients on the network. The bandwidth data-transmission rate can be set manually or for a dynamic autosensing configuration through a Web-based management interface.-D-Link
