Monitor the condition of fiber connections to ensure the consistency of data transport services with the iMcV-FM-LIM, a modular, 100-Mbps Ethernet media converter with the ability to set a threshold and monitor optical input power levels in MAN installations. The product monitors the fiber-receive power levels of single-mode fiber links that connect the customer premises. It supports Fast Ethernet (100Base-FX) single-mode links up to 15 km. An alarm can be set if the fiber power signal falls below a user-defined threshold via an SNMP trap.--IMC Networks
