In a single stand-alone device, the IS 6000 combines the functionality of a control server for wireless network configuration and management, and an access manager for enforcement of network access policies. The unit integrates into existing network infrastructures, and uses standards-based encryption to eliminate WEP and 802.11 security weaknesses.
