Designed as a solution for small to midsize businesses, the Oculan 250 combines an array of management and security functionality into a pre-integrated solution with a single user interface. Features include network and systems management, server and desktop management, intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning, bandwidth analysis, and asset management. The device provides numerous automatic and ad hoc management reports on network health and performance, and notifications through e-mail, pager or phone of network problems and significant events. The product can manage networks of up to 25 network devices, 25 servers and 250 desktops. For larger networks, the company offers an appliance that can manage up to 5,000 network nodes.--Oculan
