Intelligent power controller - Product Spotlight - Pulizzi Engineering IPC3402-2756 - Brief Article

Communications News,  June, 2003

Designed to fulfill the power-density and control/management requirements of most rack-mount systems, the IPC3402-2756 is a high-current intelligent power controller. The unit saves rack space by offering 24 amps of power in a 1-U tall package, eliminating the need for multiple power sources. Remote power control is offered via Ethernet and direct serial (RS-232) communication ports. The integrated power control features enable administrators to remotely reboot locked equipment or control system power from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. A power up/down sequencing feature limits inrush problems. The system can be connected to other IPC34xx series power controllers for control of up to 80 outlets at one IP address or using a single phone line. This unit also features local on/off control of each outlet for on-site maintenance.--Pulizzi Engineering
