NETWORK MAP DIAGRAMMING AND REPORTING CAPABILITIES help isolate and resolve network problems quickly and easily. WhatsUp Gold 6.0 network mapping and monitoring software features new SmartScan network autodiscovery, monitoring, notification and performance reporting features. The software provides network administrators and engineers versatile tools for diagramming and viewing network maps, and greater capacity to isolate and resolve network problems. New features include the addition of vector-based graphics, drawing tools, customizable icons and snap-to-grid functionality. Vector-based graphics allow users to zoom in to view specific devices or entire networks, making navigation of large maps more efficient. The autodiscovery wizard allows users to choose which discovered devices appear on their maps, and customized device icons can be created using a drawing tool called the Vector Device Editor. The end result is maps that are more legible, spacing that is cleaner and customized map editing that is faster with better network topology representation. --Ipswitch
