Communications News, July, 2002 by Phil Hollows
Identify potential interference sources and find the optimal location for wireless equipment with the SA3000 spectrum analyzer, a compact PC-based instrument that, when combined with a laptop computer, enables comprehensive remote site surveillance for any location. The sensitive receiver interfaces with a PC via a standard RS-232 serial port and monitors the entire 2.4-GHz ISM band. Included software features tools for gathering and evaluating data, and allows one-button access to absolute and relative measurements of the captured signals. The device can draw power from a 120 V AC power supply, or can use the laptop's PS/2 or USB port for power.--Aerocomm
