Cable pathway - Enclosures and cable management

Communications News, July, 2003

A simple solution for cables and wires penetrating fire-rated walls is the EZ-Path cable pathway. Cabling can be increased, decreased or repositioned easily without removing and re-installing firestopping. Offering zero to 100% visual cable fill, the self-enclosed firestopping automatically adjusts to the cable load. Whether empty or full, this pathway remains firestopped 100% of the time. The pathway is designed for new or retrofit applications. Actual outside dimensions are 3" x 3" x 10.5", and single, duplex or triplex wall plates are available for additional capacity, segregation of cables and cable management.--Specified Technologies
