CORPORATE INTRANETS AND BRANCH OFFICES can have enterprise-level security with the RapidStream 1000. Key features include firewall inspection, hacker defense, IPSec VPN and digital certificates. The product combines a 200 Mbps firewall and 50 Mbps VPN-3DES throughput, 10 VPN tunnels and 500 concurrent firewall sessions. High-availability port for failover protection eliminates downtime. If the primary unit fails, the backup unit automatically activates via virtual routing redundancy protocol. The appliance's throughput allows companies to secure higher-speed Internet access services without creating a performance bottleneck. --RapidStream
