Video splitters - Hall Research Technologies - Brief Article

Communications News,  Sept, 2001

PC VIDEO SIGNALS CAN BE TRANSMITTED over a standard CAT 5 cable up to 500' away with the video splitter. The product supports resolutions to 1,280x1,024 at any refresh rate. Audio signals can also be sent on the same cable to remote locations. Signals are converted to a format compatible with standard unshielded twisted pair CAT 5 cables. A small receiver box, Model URA, at the end of each cable extracts and restores the VGA and audio signals to their original sharpness and clarity. The splitter is available with two, eight or 24 RJ-45 outputs, and also feature separate HD15 VGA and ministereo audio outputs for connection to local monitors and speakers. Local ports can be used to expand to any number of outputs. --Hall Research Technologies
