Security enclosures - Securerack computer furniture - Brief Article - Product Announcement

Communications News, Sept, 2001

DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE standard 19" and 23" electronic components, the SecureRack is particularly suited to house critical Internet servers, and telecommunications and network components that require a higher level of security. The small footprint allows the cabinets to be installed in a co-location facility, and be field-modified to accommodate special requirements of individual users. Security can be specified from moderate to ultra high. The basic cabinet chassis is made with 12-gauge steel. Removable side panels allow cabinets to be assembled in modular array. Single-bay cabinets are 30", 32", 36" and 42" deep, by 84" or 96" tall and 24" or 28" wide. Equipment connections are easily accessed from rear doors, and from front doors through heavy-duty roller draw-out shelves. Front viewing doors for monitoring equipment without opening the cabinet are optional. Access is controlled by keypad, combination or key locks, proximity card, and/or biometric identification system.--UCI
