The unit comes with two FXO ports and two FXS ports for users to connect to PBX or phone and fax machines. The units are composed of telephone interface boards, IP network interface boards and DSP resourceboards. When setting up a call, the IP telephony gateways will automatically negotiate with each other until an agreed-upon Codec is determined. The gateway solutions are all H.323 protocol stack compliant. The gateway supports Internet or private leased-line connectivity for point-to-point T-1, ISDN, xDSL and cable modem connection. The unit provides the capability to deliver location-to-location, remote-to-central, or even remote-location dial out. With the IP telephony gateway, users do not have to change calling patterns or current phone equipment.--PUREDATA
