Designed for businesses that need complete control over all data entering and leaving their networks, the FriendlyNET VR2004 series of VPN routers provides a secure, redundant communications link between corporate networks and remote offices. An advanced firewall features secure packet inspection to evaluate inbound and outbound packets based on source, destination, state and content. The VPN routers include intrusion-detection abilities to protect against many attack methods, including 11 forms of DoS attacks. Available with and without wireless connectivity, four-port routers also have a redundant link feature to shift communication to a backup modem port if a broadband connection becomes overloaded or unavailable.--Asante Technologies
