New York City Transit has selected Blue Coat SG appliances and Blue Coat WebFilter to secure, control and accelerate its network and applications. The appliances help protect the organization's data, users and applications from direct contact with the Internet and help prevent the introduction of viruses, spyware and other malware, while providing granular control over the use of streaming media, peer-to-peer file sharing, instant messaging and general Web surfing.
